Delivery arrangements
Delivery or collection arrangements are agreed individually with each trade customer.
Due to the nature of wholesale supply, live animals, and import logistics, delivery options, methods, timing, and pricing vary depending on the order and agreement in place.
ETF Wholesale does not offer standardised delivery rates or automatic shipping options.
Available options
Subject to prior agreement, orders may be fulfilled by one of the following methods:
1. Collection from premises
Trade customers may collect orders in person from our premises in Colwyn Bay, by prior arrangement only.
Collection times and conditions must be agreed in advance.
2. Airport collection (consolidated imports)
Where applicable, trade customers may collect orders directly from the arrival airport as part of a consolidated import shipment.
Airport collection:
- Must be agreed in advance
- May require the customer to handle their own onward transport
- Is subject to import, customs, and biosecurity procedures
ETF Wholesale accepts no responsibility once the order is released for airport collection.
3. Delivery by ETF Wholesale or third-party carriers
Where delivery is arranged, it may be carried out by:
- Our own transport
- Specialist livestock transport providers
- Third-party couriers
The delivery method is selected at our discretion, based on:
- Order size and value
- Destination
- Live animal handling requirements
Delivery pricing
All delivery costs are quoted individually.
Pricing depends on factors including:
- Order size and weight
- Delivery method
- Distance and destination
- Transport or courier requirements
Delivery charges must be agreed and accepted before dispatch.
Risk & responsibility
Risk transfers to the customer upon collection or delivery, depending on the agreed method.
Customers are responsible for:
- Ensuring suitable facilities and staff are available to receive live animals
- Immediate quarantine upon receipt
- Compliance with all applicable animal welfare and biosecurity requirements
Delays & availability
Delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by:
- Transport availability
- Airline schedules
- Courier delays
- Regulatory or biosecurity requirements
ETF Wholesale is not liable for delays or disruption beyond its reasonable control.
Acceptance
By placing an order, you confirm that you:
- Accept that delivery terms are agreed individually
- Understand that pricing and methods vary
- Agree to this Delivery Policy in full
If you do not agree, you must not place an order.
